A 14-month-old boy was rescued from a hot car in western Australia after his mother “forgot” that the child as still in the vehicle.
The child was crying and sweating when he was rescued but did not need to be taken to hospital.
The boy was left in the car in north-east Perth on Monday morning in a shopping centre car park. The incident took place at 9.30am where the temperature was 96.8F (36C) at the time.
Another family soon arrived at the scene to provide help to the parent and baby. The mother did not face criminal charges, Perth police said.
