OSUN ASPIRANTS: WHO WOULD YOU CHOOSE? THE YOUNG OR OLD?

Osun 2018: Our preferred candidates between Tunde Eso, 40, Christian from Osun East, Kayode Oduoye, 48, Christian from Osun Central and Ademola Adeleke, 59 years from Osun West, a Muslim and Fatai Akinbade, 63, from Osun West, a Muslim

As a youth, your vote is your right to making Osun a better state, whatever happens this election won’t be any one’s fault but our votes should the wrong things occurs, why not stand for the youth since the Nigeria president has signed not too young to run? Go for a youth who understands, associates and is welcoming. A person who can feel the tightness of our shoe.
True leaders see beyond the moment. They can foresee what may happen in the future and prevent challenges that might arise in 20 to 50 years ahead. Exceptional leaders have the capacity to  manage immediate challenges while focusing on creating and excellently implementing systems that make life comfortable, convenient and exciting to the people. Tunde Eso, an entrepreneur and seasoned Public Relations Strategist has the perfect blend of trainings, experience and passion required to transform Osun State. Eso has been attentive to youths across board, (he will be able to attract votes from both the young and old). Let us take advantage of his efforts to win as he has been the only candidate among other governorship aspirants in Osun state that frequently visits our schools to attend to the yearnings of the youth and sensitising them on their preparedness towards a new system of government called Youthocracy.

You can imagine what may happen if we abandon such a genius in the rejuvenation process of our dear State of Osun.

We can’t afford to overlook Tunde Eso, a visionary, who has painstakingly provided workable solutions to the problems ravaging the African continent. I read his vision statement for Nigeria in an article on the 17th of July 2018 titled “What have you said?” where he said “l have a vision that Nigeria will become the mother of all nations” which was also published in The Guardian Newspaper and Nigerian Tribune.

Within two months, Tunde Eso has attended more that 10 events organised by youths and students in Osun State where he has received four awards. For the past two years, he has consistently promoted the party on which he intends to contest for election.

He has spent his money, energy, risked his life just to ensure that his party, PDP, wins in the next governorship election in Osun State. Also he has not stopped publishing intelligent and insightful opinion articles which has endeared both the old and young to vote for PDP. I’m sure everyone can testify to this fact. In recent times, no other candidate has been prompt at responding to the callings of the youth that constitute the largest population of our voting electorate in Osun State.

We are not saying other aspirants are not doing their bit, but Eso has been very insightful and intelligently carrying the youth along on his aspirations. We want him to continue to represent us. We love his drive; he is our role model. If we must win this election, we advise Osun state stakeholders, fellow youth, compatriots, religious leaders, teachers, elders, students and others to join us in this bid. If the zoning option does not favour him,(Tunde Eso) he should be allowed to deputize whoever is picked as the flag bearer under his party. (PDP). Osun State.

While we have made a case for Tunde Eso, Kayode Oduoye is not left out. He is also a major contributor in the effort at making Osun state a better place for the benefit of mankind.

While Tunde Eso goes round  sensitising the youth, Kayode Oduoye also does a bit of that but he concentrates more at ensuring that his party is united for the purpose of winning in the next election.

Kayode Oduoye is another enigma but much closer to the older generation. Tunde Eso and Kayode Oduoye are a perfect blend.

If the intention is to pick a Muslim as our representative in the next dispensation, then Ademola Adeleke, a Muslim from Ede or Fatai Akinbade will be ideal. Tunde Eso and Kayode Oduoye who are both Christians could be picked as Deputy Governor and Secretary to the State Government respectively.

Both of them have performed beyond reasonable doubt and as such we want them to represent us at the state level in their respective capacities. They are our role models They have both impacted us with their intellect, risked their lives for our sake. No other candidate has been able to do what they have done for the youth. We need more of them.

Take a look at what is happening in Ekiti State concerning the 2018 PDP flag bearer and Deputy governor. A 35 years old man has been picked to compliment the flag bearer because they understand the essence of winning through youth representation.

In Osun state we also need to consider a young man as flag bearer or deputy to ensure a perfect match for winning. This is the mind set of major Osun State youth, since they said zoning does not favour our constituency, then he should be part of the cabinet at the top. This is our take.
