FIVE FEMALE CELEBRITIES WHO WERE OBJECT TO DOMESTIC VIOLENCE.

Having read so about marriage and the constituted rules it is guarded by, I wonder if getting married should be abolished or not.
Thinking of how many women outside has being ruined, killed and sentenced life in uncontrolled pain, it breaks my heart.
The most painful and annoying part is that the fact that you are a public figure does not differentiate your pain in the hand of these animalistic men outside.
Love should be something we all pray for, but what would one do if the one you pledged to death do you apart with, decides to make death earlier for you. I will be discussing about celebrities who has being object of domestic violence and what I feel they can do.

1. Chika Ike

Ike has been outspoken on abusive relationships, having been a victim of domestic violence. In 2013, she opened up about how she was domestically abused in her past marriage. She filed for divorce due to domestic violence in 2013, since then I have sighted a slowed lane in her career. What I believe she can do is hold Her career more tightly. No body is worth leaving your life for.

2. Mercy Aigbe.

She is a great Yoruba actress who has won for herself many awards and also heart of many fans. She is highly industrious and of course intelligent.
Mercy Aigbe, is married to a Nigerian hotelier and has two children and three stepdaughters.
Mercy Aigbe who presently has problem with her marriage might be heading for divorce soon. She has posted lately pictures of how she has being domestically abused.
My advise to her is to get the divorce faster if she can, the idea of any man bringing a woman Down to the downward layer of her career is something the societies should fight against.

3. Tonto Dike
I have never being fan of Tonto dike, not because she is bad but just believe she is a great fan inf constituting nuisance to social media . When I read about her being a Victim of domestic violence, I was heart broken. There was a change in her level of strength, if no one noticed, I did.
I think she can work towards regaining Her strength back.

On International Women’s Day in 2017, Tonto came forth with a video confession of being a victim of domestic violence and getting infected with STDs in her marriage by Oladunni Churchill. Before this, there had been speculations that her marriage had hit the rocks because of her husband’s infidelity with one of his protégé, Rosaline Meurer. On her Instagram page, Dikeh accused Churchill of murdering their unborn child through domestic violence and being an internet fraudster, popularly known as ‘yahoo boy

4. Tiwa savage

Tiwa Savage is married to Tunji “Tee Billz” Balogun. On 23 November 2013, the couple held their traditional marriage at the Ark in Lekki. The couple’s white wedding was held on 26 April 2014, at the Armani Hotel in Dubai. On 1 January 2015, Savage and her husband, Tunji “Tee Billz” Balogun, announced that they were expecting their first child together. On 22 July 2015, Tiwa Savage gave birth to her son Jamil Balogun. On 28 April 2016, Tunji “Tee Billz” Balogun, in a series of social media posts, accused his wife of infidelity as well as her mother of witchcraft.
In a 45- minute interview conducted by Thisday newspaper and Pulse Nigeria, Tiwa Savage extensively addressed her husband’s lengthy social media posts regarding their marriage. She debunked her husband’s infidelity claims and accused him of financial recklessness, drug addiction, and abandonment. Moreover, she said that her marriage to him is over.
I’m a great fan of this woman, I love Her strength, her personality and Her style of music . I knew she was going to pass through all the violence starting from the very beginning, but I’m proud of her for having taken control.
My advice MA, because you love a man doesn’t give him the right to do your bank account.

5. Monilisa chinda.

This is one great woman I have so much respect for, as a celebrity, an actress and a motivational speaker she has being so strong enough to walk through domestic violence issues and she got stronger.
She twitted on December 2014, on how she has being a victim of domestic violence and how she has survived all these to be a better woman.
My point still remains men should be place on some probation or some certain level of punishment great enough to teach them that rising your hand on a woman does not make you human… But of course it makes you an animal and the society should treat any man who finds pleasure in abusing women as one. Keep riding on MA. the heavens is your limit.
