Death in the ring, Boxing Day.
Approximately five hundred boxers have died in the ring or as a result of boxing since the Marquis of Queensberry Rules were introduced in 1884.
But every boxing has being celebrated with a lot of boxing fans practicing the act of wrestling for fun!, as a way of earning a living or even as sport for people to view. That brings me to the questions, should boxing be stopped? Well I really can’t say much about boxing being stopped, but I can say if boxing is stopped, a lot of people whose job is wrestling will be jobless, also there are people whose hobby is boxing, my hobby is writing, if the country’s legislatives decides to stop writing, that will be like them trying to stop me from breathing.
So stopping boxing might be like that to someone or there, I mean it might have such effect on someone out there, a lot of people said boxing is a violent game, well every game has it violent part, people get wounded at heart, for example, in the game of chess, you lose your soldiers, and at the worst scenario, you lose your king and of course you get hurt. In scrabble, you miss the word and it gives you headaches and you feel like a loser, but in the game of wrestling, you don’t feel it in the heart alone, you feel the pain in your body too.
Which makes boxing a game for only the strong at heart and people whose muscle can survive…
For some of you sending me mails, whatsapp messages that you want me to be your boxing mate today, my answer is “Thank you, I still love my pretty face and I want to keep it pretty.
Happy Boxing Day.
