According to Wikipedia Civilization (US) or civilisation (UK variant) is any complex society characterized by urban development, social stratification imposed by
cultural elite, symbolic systems of communication (for example, writing systems), and a perceived separation from and domination over the Years.

Civilizations are intimately associated with and often further defined by other socio-politico-economic characteristics, including centralization, the domestication of both humans and other organisms, specialization of labour, culturally ingrained ideologies of progress and supremacism, monumentalarchitecture, taxation, societal dependence upon farming and expansionism. Historically, a civilization was a so-called “advanced” culture in contrast to more supposedly primitive cultures. In this broad sense, a civilization contrasts with non-centralized tribal societies, including the cultures of nomadic pastoralist, Neolithicsocieties or hunter-gatherers. As an uncountable noun, civilization also refers to the process of a society developing into a centralized, urbanized, stratified structure. Civilizations are organized in densely populated settlements divided into hierarchical social classes with a ruling elite and subordinate urban and rural populations, which engage in intensive agriculture, mining, small-scale manufacture and trade. Civilization concentrates power, extending human control over the rest of nature, including over other human beings
So I can simply say civilization is what the society decides to be in vague… I mean what everybody is attracted to, or doing at a certain period of time, then I stand to be corrected that civilization isn’t a waste of time. The world revolves round its axis and I wonder how many turns of civilization we have had and we are still back at the starting point.

Anyway I will be discussing five signs that shows civilization is eighty percent waste of time, while it’s twenty percent assurance goes to technology civilization. Apart from civilization which relates to technology, we keep coming back to the root after getting civilized.

1.Natural hair gang.

In the early century of the sixties, our forefathers carried a good, full grown hair on their head. Most of them were so admirable that all they need do whenever this is a need for an occasion is wear their clothes and leave, few years towards the nineties, a chemical which soften the hair was discovered, later on we realized this chemical has some natural effects on our hair, such as breaks, cut and some times sores after using them… So about thirty percent of the universe is back to what our forefathers were on in the olden days… What is the use of civilization here? Adventure right?

2. Trousers.

As of the year 1990s, when our eye were opened to some certain level of civilization, we started wearing trousers and those trousers were referred to as baggy because they were big, then later in the year 2006, some Muslims scholars started a doctrine of short length trousers and these people were referred to as tebliks, later on, civilization moved to almost all masculine youth and then it faded out with time. We are wearing the normal long pencil trousers for now… What is the use? We went around and we are almost back to wearing that same baggy trouser again… Lol

3. Organic products.

I read the stories of how our African parent once prefer to eat fresh leaves from the farm, take some fresh herbal drink at the farmstead, then civilization sets it. They started consuming herbal drink which contains preservative like nitrogen oxide which of course is dangerous to their health, and now science has proven the more chemicals substance you the consume, the more your body system get accustom to them, therefore making your system not positively reactive to them when they need to. Everyone is running back to those natural things our forefathers were drinking then… My mum is a typical example of people who ran back to doing this.

4. Household utensils.

Mold pots made from earthly clay was very common and of course healthy for cooking in the olden days, until civilization sets in and we put in for house hold utensils made from aluminum, and various metals wares, plus our dishing spoons, cutleries which are also made from these Metallic wares. Recently it has being discovered that using metallic pots plus metallic spoon to cook and stir maybe very dangerous, as there are some certain reaction which brings about the dissociation of ions into the food which is to be consumed, a typical example of what will affect the liver is too much of lead ions in the body, which of course can be consumed through the usage of lead utensils… So everyone is running back to wooden utensils… Civilization is just taking us round the cycle, are we really getting somewhere?

5. Agriculture.

I had a very hilarious discussion with a friend few days ago, “He said Agriculture will soon be in extinct”, that was a very funny statement for any educated person to say. In the early days when our forefathers knew the right thing to do was farming, they ate healthy, drank healthy and lived long, until civilization came in and food product started becoming adulterated and it started occurring to us that people ain’t living for a long time no more. This was when everyone decided to leave adulterated food and go for fresh food from the farmland. A lot of people has died due to all this adventure we chose to be part of, but one thing is certain, when it comes to technology, civilization is doing great but toward every other things, I think it is just a waste of time.

Because it seems like a cycle and we keep coming back.
