It is no longer news that Osun State Governor Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola during the last edition of his night of jamboree called “Ogbeni Till Day Break” put the total debt of the state at #171.4 billion, knowingly well that debt profile of the State is very much more than the amount quoted as about #30billion being conventional bond, another #11.4billion being SUKUK loan were not part of the amount quoted by the Governor.
For all sane persons, the question that should be pondering in our minds is that where are the projects that this administration of Aregbesola has done that are of equal proportion to this paltry #250billion debts? I also leave this question for the founding fathers, Royal Heads and all stakeholders in the State who have for long left the mad man with his father’s corpse to do it the way he likes.
To set the record straight, one of the financial misappropriations/recklessness by this Aregbesola’s government is the construction of highly celebrated Hassan Olajokun Park at Gbongan Junction. The Park and Garden whose contract sum in 2013 was said to be #300million which has not generate a dime to the State’s coffer since the day it was commissioned.

Lo and behold, I passed through the Parks and Garden today, my heart bleeds with the condition of the parks. The #300million worth Park can now be best described as “Forest Reserve”. The questions that came to my mind so quick were, what have we done wrong in Osun to deserve this disaster called Aregbesola? Who cursed Osun with Aregbesola?
I pondered on these questions within myself so much then I concluded that my PVC and your PVCs will do justice to the questions by vote this reckless APC government and her Agents led by Rauf Aregbesola out of power in September 22nd, 2018 governorship election.
Let the Omoluabi decides.
