Having read a lot of facts, I decided to do some deep checkings and rooting about some of them and guess what? I found out that there are actually some things that are not just the fact but also the truth.
I will be discussing five facts which are interestingly very true.
1. Youngest mother gave birth @ 5 year old.
Lina Marcela Medina born on 23 September 1933 is a Peruvian woman who became the youngest confirmed mother in medical history, giving birth at the age of five years, seven months, and 21 days. She lives in Lima, the capital of Peru.
Lina MedinaBorn23 September 1933 (age 84 to silversmith Tiburelo Medina and Victoria Losea, she was brought to a hospital by her parents at the age of five years due to increasing abdominal size. She was originally thought to have a tumor, but doctors determined she was in her seventh month of pregnancy. Dr Gerardo Lozada took Medina to Lima to have other specialists confirm that she was pregnant and it was to be a baby boy.
2. Natural Animal of Scotland is unicorn.
The national symbols of Scotland are flags, icons or cultural expressions that are emblematic, representative or otherwise characteristic of Scotland or Scottish culture. As a rule, these national symbols are cultural icons that have emerged from Scottish folklore and tradition, meaning few have any official status. However, most if not all maintain recognition at a national or international level, and some, such as the Royal Arms of Scotland, have been codified in heraldry, and are established, official and recognised symbols of Scotland. I once read unicorn were imaginery animals which never existed, just like dinosaurs.
3. Lightly roasted coffee contains more caffeine.
What’s your favorite coffee roast? Dark? Light? Somewhere in between? Here’s a “coffee 101” guide to coffee roasts from light to dark.
The degree to which coffee beans are roasted is one of the most important factors that determine the taste of the coffee in the cup. Before roasting, green coffee beans are soft, with a fresh “grassy” smell and little or no taste. The coffee roasting process transforms these raw beans into the distinctively aromatic, flavorful, crunch.
Light roasted beans generally reach an internal temperature of 180°C – 205°C (356°F – 401°F). At or around 205°C, the beans pop or crack and expand in size. This is known as the “first crack” (for the “second crack,” see below). So a light roast generally means a coffee that has not been roasted beyond the first crack, which of course means the level of caffeine present is higher, as the coffee gets darker, the level of caffeine present in it being reduced.
4. Lighter was invented before matches.
The first lighters were converted flintlock pistols that used gunpowder. One of the first lighters was invented by the German chemist named Johann Wolfgang Döbereiner in 1823 and was often called Döbereiner’s lamp. This lighter worked by passing flammable hydrogen gas, produced within the lighter by a chemical reaction, over a platinum metal catalyst which in turn caused it to ignite and give off a great amount of heat and light while The first successful friction match was invented in 1826 by English chemist John Walker, a chemist and druggist from Stockton-on-Tees, County Durham. He developed a keen interest in trying to find a means of getting fire easily. Several chemical mixtures were already known which would ignite by a sudden explosion, but it had not been found possible to transmit the flame to a slow-burning substance like wood.
5. If you put 23 people in a room, there is probability of having two people with same birthday date.
I guess this principle works base on the fact there is definitely a one date which is an even number between one and twenty and also a one date which is an odd number that the one might be added to, in order to make it an even number.
Just using my scientific mind.
