10 FOOD YOU SHOULD STOP EATING IF YOU OFTEN HAVE HEADACHE

1. Cheese

The quantity of tyramine in cheeses can vary. It depends on the type of processing, fermentation, aging, degradation and even bacterial contamination. Basically, the logic is that the older the cheese is, the better the taste is. However this affects your health. Older cheese can cause migraine.

2. Additives

You should definitely avoid food that contains sodium glutamate, yeast extract, hydrolyzed vegetable protein and sodium caseinate. Think carefully before you buy the next bag of candy.

3. Alcohol

Alcohol is generally harmful to your body, while the tyramine in the alcohol can cause headaches. Red wine, champagne, whiskey and beer mostly cause headaches.

4. Cold food

If your body temperature is elevated because you stayed in the sun, consider well before you eat an ice cream to cool down. Cold food will certainly give you a headache if your body is heated.

5. Nitrites

Nitrites are used as preservatives in foods such as sausage, pepperoni, and smoked meat, sour and canned food, which are the main reason for migraines. Stay away from nitrite and you will drastically reduce the chance of migraine.

6. Tannin

Tea made from red apples or pears and red wine containing tannin. Tannin is apparently one of the most common causes for migraine.

7. Sulfates

Any type of preservative is bad. Sulfates are used as preservatives in dried fruits such as grapes, plums, apricots, figs, dates and so on. Before you buy these foods, always check if they contain sulfate.

8. Chocolate

Cocoa may protect nerve cells caused by migraine. However, almost one third of headaches can be caused by chocolate. Many people who suffer from migraines experience an increase in appetite before a headache.

9. Caffeine

Caffeine addiction can easily cause a headache. The best thing is to drink one or two cups of coffee in a day. If you stop drinking coffee you can get a headache as well.

10. Bread

All products containing any type of yeast can be extremely harmful and can serve as a trigger for migraine. Some types of biscuits can do the same as well.
